    Server 2003 TCP/IP problem

    I keep getting

Please verifiy that the networks cable is connected, and that a DHCP server is available or the computer is configured to use a static IP address then click Next."

    IP address 192.168.0.3
    Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway 192.168.0.1

any help would be appreciated, thank you

Are those the IP's you set manually?

    192.168.0.1 is the router?

What DNS IP have you set?

Does your networkcard say a cable is connected or not?

    Check your cable.

Be sure you haven't used a crossed cable.

Try setting DNS equal to the Gateway. 192.168.0.1

(don't forget the DNS it has now, in case you need to switch back)

    Greetings
