My best one is still my current one ...Compaq PresarioV2000. It's over 7yrs old. It originally came with XP Professional, but I upgraded to Vista Business. I've Beta tested many programs on this machine and it's never missed a step.

Now, since I've done this bit of bragging, it may just poof out on me

I've only ever had two. My first was a MSI x320, which is basically a netbook with a 13" screen. It was OK.

My current is an Acer V5-571G that I got for $600 and installed a SSD. It's a fair bit better, having a Nvidia 620m and DVD drive, while still staying fairly thin and light. I won't go out and say it's the best damn laptop in the world, but it's fairly good and does what I need (but I need to get a proper gaming computer)
