Man gets fake FBI child porn alert, arrested for child porn

Quote:
21-year-old Virginian Jay Riley was sufficiently stunned to receive a pop-up "FBI Warning" telling him to pay a fine for child pornography that he went to his local police station in Prince William County.

In what seems like a helpful and open frame of mind, he allegedly offered the police his computer for examination. There, the police allegedly found child pornography.

How about if the virus installed the child pornography without Jay Riley knowing it. How would he ever prove it?
If he is guilty I can't post what I think should be done with him.

I have read this are article and this stood out to me, I quote *Still, 21-year-old Virginian Jay Riley was sufficiently stunned to receive a pop-up "FBI Warning" telling him to pay a fine for child pornography that he went to his local police station in Prince William County.* I don't think that a true pedophile would go to the police station with computer in hand just to turn it over. It seems more like he caught some sort of scam /malware, virus, extortion type of thing on his laptop. What he should of done is contact a lawyer first. But if he indeed is guilty, than I would have no problems with chemical castration or some other sort of punishment for this heinous wrongdoing.

There are some interesting observations made. If he did have it on his PC & knowingly went to the police, then he was a little deficient in the brain department. So the question, did the virus put some illegal material on there, as Layback Bear mentioned, or did someone else using his PC put it on there?

I wouldn't put it beyond virus makers to include a couple illegal items such as that.

In 1997 so-called English popstar Gary Glitter took his pc into a branch of PC World in Bristol for repair. Staff found child pornography on the pc and informed the police. Glitter was charged and found guilty. This, and the original story above, speaks volumes about the intelligence of pedos.
