Add fan to external hard drive?

I bought a SimpleTech SimpleDrive hard drive enclosure on eBay for $15. It is very nice for the price I paid but I would like to add a fan if possible. I was thinking of this 40mm VGA Video Card 12V Fan 26x26x20mm 2 5mm New | eBay and somehow mounting it. Does anyone know if it can be done as far as wiring it? I can probably figure some way of mounting it and it has vents on it so it should be able to ventilate.

That's an idea, but I'm not sure if it would fit. I will open the case today and kind of eyeball it an see if it will fit. Also, how would I wire it since it takes a molex connector?

That's usually why enclosures are better as a once in a while access option,
If you want to leave the enclosure on everyday and Indexed a better model should be used no special wiring necessary,
Your attempting to use the existing enclosure in a way which it's not designed for,
Although some models do come with other connection cables/ rigging a fan into the existing wiring could risk low voltage to the unit where data is saved,
So if the Fan in question has it's own dedicated power source/ adapter it's not worth messing with.
But for the most part the fan it's self does not have to be inside the unit/ only accommodated or mounted on top and cut a hole in it to Pull air through the existing venting holes.
