Well if you are in Australia, there has been a high focus on woman and how they are been kidnapped and raped due to their appearances (what they wear and where they go). Girls who goes out wearing skimpy clothes were been labelled as animal meat attracting wild dogs...to me that's a fair label (and no i'm not muslim). Here u have a young girl who is alone and on the high seas. What more needs to be said? no dman pirates is going to just rob her boat and let her go now are they?

You really are telling us a lot about yourself

She'll fish or she'll be fished.

the girl in the image has nothing to do with the topic.

First thought: "hey, surely that couldn't be Bill Gates, could it?"
Second thought: "Why is he French? The tricolore, garlic, and the snail are presumably there for a reason."
Third thought: "Why is BillG committing an act of piracy against a Windows speedboat while flying the French flag?"
Fourth thought: "He's not the pirate - they're making him walk the plank. Why?"

Does anyone know the story behind the drawing?

Does not look like him though.

I would said it might have something to do with software piracy?

As far as I can tell from the news reports, there's multiple media choppers that fly out and get stories take videos of the boat etc.

I'm also led to believe from a column in The Daily Telegraph she and her parents signed a dead with Channel 9 (Australian channel) for media coverage (that's why they put her on the news every night) and they are sponsoring her so when she gets back to Australia she'll be interviewed by Channel 9 representives eg. Tracy Grimshaw.

I wish her good luck, she's been sailing for the majority of her life she's said so she's no novice (aside from running into that tanker or whatever :P)

    Peace out.

    More than one pirate there:

    A favorite of mine:
Pirates of Silicon Valley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Then,

IMDb Video: Pirates of Silicon Valley

Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999) (TV)
