Windows 7: The case of the missing mattress

The case of the missing mattress

While having a few drinks to celebrate Vistax64's 100,000th member on Friday, my wife took advantage of my drunken state and got me to order the new bed she has wanted for the past 10 years.

This morning the bed is delivered:- 3 boxes - 2x 8"x8" x6' and 1x 4' x 6' but no sign of the mattress

I phone the company who assure me that they have sent my mattress along with the bed, but said they would check with the delivery guys to find out where it is.

I decide to build the bed anyway while I wait for an update on the mattresses location, so I finish building the bed and still have one 8"x8"x6' box left I open it......it's the worlds thinnest mattress so I roll it out on the bed base and go outside for a smoke, I come back 5 mins later and it has expanded into a full size mattress bloody memory foam lol

I really don't want to phone them back now and tell then I have found it

Use it as a backup mattress. Would have been nice if they labeled the box too.

I would have expected it to be mattress sized not 1inch thick and rolled up in a box.

It seems to be fully expanded now and bloody comfy, but I still dont want to phone them and admit that I have it.

Typical man, pass the buck
I'll admit though that it will probably work as it will show just how thick men can be and I'm running for cover
