How to add a subwoofer to my pc?

    Hello,

So far I had a 2.1 set of speakers (subwoofer and 2 speakers), and all I had to was to plug the 3.5mm jack to the pc and everything worked together.
But now the speakers aren't working too good, and I thought of buying the new "dancing water" speakers, but they don't come with a subwoofer.
So I wonder if I want to add a subwoofer separately, to work with the speakers, is that possible, if I only have
one 3.5mm socket in my pc?

*Edit : I think I found some options, Get a 3.5mm splitter to the pc output, or get a 3.5mm to RCA converter so that I can connect the 3.5mm speakers to the sub.

    Thanks!

Some powered subs will take the green stereo signal and then pass through them to the powered speakers. Otherwise you would want to look into a sound card which likely will provide better sound and control anyway.
