I'm a little late coming into the world of modern electronica, but I can definitely suggest some individual songs (and occasional whole albums).
Darude 'Sandstorm' (The single exists as a two-song LP vinyl which I'm still looking for myself, but I found a domestic version of the CD single locally, used in my case. Really good electrobeat, but don't turn up the bass if you have anybody below you in your home or apartment neighbour who don't appreciate earthquakes! ^_^)
Orbital 'Satan' 'Chime' 'Doctor (Who)' (A lot of their early stuff is difficult to come by; the two brothers who've put out everything they've composed since the early 1990's are nearly as secretive as the two guys in Daft Punk, but they're good at what they do!)
Daft Punk 'Homework' (got that on tape) and 'Random Access Memories' (CD) (the latter was released earlier this year, and they've never been more impactful!)
Rammstein 'Ich Will' (The version that comes with 2012's 'The Videos' is slightly different from the original album version on 'Mutter' (2000), and it makes a nice contrast given my familiarity with 'Mutter' (got it and the domestic single for 'Ich Will' on CD)) 'Mann Gegen Mann' (from 'Rosenrot', one of their concept albums/mini-fiction projects) (Got both 'Mutter' and the single for 'Mann Gegen Mann' on CD) 'Heirate Mich' (off their debut album 'Herzeleid', which has two very different album covers depending on where you buy it and when it was pressed) (CD)
There are a whole lot of electronica/trance bands I like; used to have a local college station with a weekly broadcast of music of that sort for several hours each Friday night (was the first place I heard Paul van Dyk, Darude and Orbital) and I managed to cobble together a dozen or so radio dubs on cassette tape over the three years I listened to it before it stopped airing, but a lot of it I just remember the song by what it sounded like; no idea what most of the bands were and often not even the songs.
