Norwegian man’s forgotten $27 investment in Bitcoin now worth $886,000

A Norwegian man bought $27 worth of Bitcoins back in 2009 and promptly forgot all about them. As the cryptocurrency became more popular, he was reminded of his minuscule electronic nest egg. After inspecting the contents of his Bitcoin wallet, Kristoffer Koch realized his initial $27 investment was now worth an incredible $886,000.

I never forget my investments/deposits. I am always in need of money

I just took out the last 10000 Rs (100 $) from my bank account.

But I wish I could have the same luck and some day I am Millionaire.

Why do these things always happen to wrong people (read: all others) but never to those who really deserves them (read: me)!

In 2009 bitcoin rates changed a lot, up and down but 0.06 USD was the low price at the exchanges. $27 worth of .06 btc's is $90,000 today. Good story none the less. If I started mining sooner I would have 720 coins instead of 72

Everybody who does well has done so out of a fluke, or more often a series of small flukes.
