I would actually welcome some proper winter weather, I do a fair amount of photography, and if you have a "normal" Bright, cold, crisp winters day, you can dress accordingly, and the light is good for taking images, the Dismal Grey that comes with our current weather pattern means that I have hardly been out with the cameras this winter

We've managed to avoid the snow so far this winter our problem is rain. As Nigel said it has rained nearly every day this year. The Somerset Levels have been flooded since Christmas and now the Thames valley is being flooded on the outskirts of London.

    Update

All the rounds of interview has been completed.
I scored very poor in Aptitude test. The personal interview went quite well though.

The results will be out by tonight.

    Fingers crossed

Got plenty of rain here as well, I'm pretty high up but still get too much water outside the door and on the drive the ground is so saturated it just can't take anymore.
It's the gale force winds I fear, especially when you have enormous trees towering over you.

We've just had a hale storm hit us.

I'm sure you'll do fine Dinesh, all the other rounds seem to have gone OK so I'm sure 1 poor round will not be held too much against you.

How long to you have to wait to find out ?

Really great photos, Nigel. What telephoto lens do you favor?

Did they say you scored poorly in the aptitude test or is that just your own feeling? I'm sure you did outstandingly well overall, Dinesh.

I think it's just two days without rain since before the Christmas holidays, I'm safe enough here, am at a reasonable height, but do feel for all those who bought their dream houses next to the rivers, probably not considering what they would be like during a bad winter, You would think that a Street name of the like of "Water Meadows Row", may give a clue
Been following the news from Surrey, it's like totally under water at the moment. Terrible to see, what on earth do people think buying houses on such places?

Yes Kari. The Thames floods are quite extensive. BBC News - UK floods: Aerial footage of Thames floods. I have a nephew that lives a few miles from there. Fortunately he is clear of it.

You have some striking sunsets Nigel. Your cat seems to have the same expression all the time.

Wow that's like the Mississippi river floods that happen here. No more complaints about snow.
