I watched the game, of course, but for me part of the experience, the thrill is not to know the end results.
I have nothing against watching later from DVR or from my Finnish IPTV where I can watch every channel every show from four weeks back but I'm quite superstitiously cautious when doing so: I do not chat, phone or IM with my family and friends back in my native Finland, watch no news nor do I browse to a news site before I have seen my games, as in not to accidentally find out how it ended.
No, that has never happened yet :).
Steph and all other fellow geeks in UK, be careful. The news show some disturbing images from there, especially from Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex.
It's been an eventful morning while trying to sort out Sunday dinner. Willow brought something in, John thought it was a mouse, it had gone under the cooker.
It turned out to be a young water shrew, it went from under the cooker and across to under the door into the airing cupboard. Willow went in there but then lost interest she came out I shut the door and she sat on guard outside the door.
I turned round from the sink to see it running out of the airing cupboard and it went under the fridge/freezer. Willow settled at the side and the stray who visits came in and she was on the other side having some biscuits in front of a cupboard, the shrew came out an along the front of the cupboard saw the stray turned round and went back under the fridge.
The stray went shrew came back out and ran towards the door and then went up the side between the wall and the boiler. I have an humane trap so put that by the door shrew came out ran up to it went over it and round I managed to stop it going under the washing machine and turned it back and then got it steered into the trap. At one point Sooty was sitting by the door and the shrew ran over his tail, he was not amused.
Took it outside and I think it took longer to get it to come out of the trap and run away.
In all this Willow would just follow it around and not even try to catch it.
