Intel wants people to buy a higher priced board, hoping they'll buy a higher priced processor.
Manufacturers trying to lure users to the lower priced boards with a BIOS update to increase their sales, be damned.

Yes mate the boards and the CPU's (especially the Ivy stuff) out here are getting ridiculously pricey too and putting my build on indefinite hold.
As for this latest rot well makes you wonder how an AMD build would go.
