Much as I like Windows I have to be honest and say Microsoft set themselves up for some of the ads and a few of them really are funny.
Instead of everyone getting mad about this just realize that Windows has moved on from most of these issues that the Mac commercials raise and those that are true...well we shouldn't bitch about that either. It just does the the job of goal setting for the boys in Redmond (They do point out the things I hear my users bitch about regularly and a good enemy will see your weak points better than a whole host of friends. If anything Microsoft should Thank Apple for helping to improve their product because that's what commercials like these actually do....point out the weak points that need to be addressed).
Just save me from "Yes" men, I'll take a good enemy any day.
Its just advertising for crying out loud and Microsoft does it too in their "I'm a PC" commercials which frankly don't really measure up against the Mac ads for humor factor.
Does anyone out here on SevenForums really feel that these adds will get them to change to mac......I didn't think so.
We should have thicker skins and not let trivial issues like advertising distract us from our real goal. Helping people who have problems and come here to ask for help.

Well im considering switching to mac. I dont know much about them just now, but over the next few years i hope to learn enough to make an informed decision. Just now im thinking windows 7 will be the last windows OS i use as my main pc.
Il not slag windows as the same issues may be in a mac but as that women in the vid says "i could stick with what i know, but what i know is pain and frustration"
Personally, I love these commercials. I'm not a big Mac fan (not at all, actually), but I still have a laugh when I watch these. Let's face it - the guys over at Apple are creative, it even shows in their products. Nevertheless, the Mac vs. Pc debate is a neverending one, and everyone knows that these ads won't settle it. Also, ads are supposed to bring a product into a consumer's consciousness, not be a reference point on which to make a purchasing decision. So let's not take it too seriously.
