    Mac Hard Drive Jumper Question

I have a hard drive that I would like to use with other drives, but it is missing the jumper (plastic thing that lets you select cable select, master, etc.) How do I make another one?

I am not an expert on drives and please correct me if I am wrong. I think we don't need jumpers now a days. As, they are connected via SATA and they automatically gets detected as master or slave.

Normally only PATA drives had jumpers for master and slave selection. On SATA drives these concepts have no meaning.

The computer is a Powermac G4 MDD. It is from the early 2000's. It only has ATA.
