    In Memoriam Nelson Mandela RIP

    Hi there
Condolences to any S.Africans on this Forum --

A sad day that Nelson Mandela has died -- a great leader who will surely be missed --
I don't think there are enough words to express what he did for that particular country (and the world in general) --Pity we don't have politicians like him.

Very much agreed. He was a great man and he outlived his persecutors whom he forgave. A very respected leader.
I really started to get to know about Nelson Mandela with he record by The Specials "Free Nelson Mandela" in 1984.

Video -- The Special AKA?"Free Nelson Mandela" -- National Geographic

His legacy is an example to us all.
    RIP.

    RIP Nelson Mandela

People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite... Man's goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never explained.

A great man who will be missed. It was ironic as well that the premier of the film about him was being shown over here attended by Prince William and Kate when the news came in.
