Albert Einstein
A human being is a part of a whole, called by us 'universe', a part limited in
time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
Nice one Jan:)
I put contact lenses in my dog's eyes. They had little pictures of cats on them. Then I took one out and he ran around in circles. -- Steven Wright
"Spartans never die, they are just missing in action" Quote from the game Halo Reach
You can not always say it's no use to try because if it had worked, somebody had already figured out how. If it really were so, nobody would ever invent anything because everything possible would already be invented, figured out.
- Some wise man, I do not remember who.
I used these words today when having a heated argument with a co-worker.
