Next to Corgis Goldens are my favorite breed. They have a rescue group here called TVGRR(TN Valley Golden Retriever Rescue) that come to one of the local pet stores the first Saturday of the month. Wonderful dogs and marvelous companions.

Is Cooper the one with the sweatshirt on and wearing glasses?

Nice picture of the two of you.

Nice picture, ColColt. Looks like a great buddy. He sounds like mine. Always starving, and you can't give him too much. Heck, he says he's never had enough, much less too much. I've never had a Corgi, but from everything I've heard they are great dogs and good friends. I think it is all in how they are raised.

My Cousin has 2 Pit Bulls. They are just as calm and docile as you could imagine. When he comes over, they chase me around, not much, I can't run far, then I fall down and the maul the heck out of me, just playing. I've never been bit or even nipped, even once. Some bad breeders have given some good dogs a bad name. No matter what breed of dog you have, you can teach them to be mean or teach them to be just fun loving pets. I'm just a dog lover at heart, of all breeds. In my opinion, there are no bad dogs, just bad people.

I honestly don't think Bubba has a stomach. It's an endless barrel with no bottom. Corgis are a blast to watch them run. They run like a rabbit with both hind legs hitting the ground at the same time but don't let those short legs fool you. They can run faster than you'd think. Bred as herding dogs I suppose they have to run well to get away from cattle kicks.

Pit bulls have taken a bad rap for a long time. When I think of docile Pit Bulls I think of Petey on the Little Rascals and Cesar Millan's late dog, Daddy. I've watched the Dog Whisperer for years and never saw an aggressive move from him at all.

In my opinion, there are no bad dogs, just bad people.
I think for the most part that's true but there's good and bad in the canine world just like with humans. I definitely don't believe that ALL Pit Bulls are killers either. the only time I was ever bitten, totally unprovoked, was from a Heinz 57 dog across the street who nailed my leg and arm just as I had gotten my mail and turned to go back inside the house.

Thanks Bill. I take that as a compliment coming from a dog 'person' like you.
