    Using an image editor

Because of a hobby of mine which is woodburning (pyrography), it would be helpful for me if I could convert a picture to a line drawing. I believe that it can be accomplished with an image editor, but I have no idea how. I installed the image editor Irfanview. Does anyone know if it can be done with Irfanview and if so, is there a simple way to do it?
    Thanks, Frank

Hello Frank. Irfanview, while a great program, does not have that feature. Have a look at these free programs and see if one suit your needs

FotoSketcher | Turn photos into art for free

Photo to Sketch--Thinker Software--a tool to convert a photograph to excellent sketch

There are also many free online converters. Google for somehing like photo to sketch free online
