    Why do some Windows 7 professionals think Advanced System Care is so bad?

    A major component of this utility is a registry cleaner. A a general rule all such products cause more problems than they solve and should thus be avoided.

    What LMiller7 said. Plus the fact that everything ASC does you can do in about the same time frame manually. Personally I like the idea of ME deciding what goes into and out of my machine. Plus, imho iobit as a company are thieves and should not be "rewarded" for their thievery.

    Many have to do a Clean Install after using Advanced System Care.
    In my opinion anything by IOBit should not be on a computer.
