    Best Android phone?

    Hi,

Which in your expert opinion is the best high end Android phone. Xperia Z2, Samsung Galaxy S5 or LG G3?

My main priorities are one which can run Sygic maps and support Skype video.

    Thanks.

I don't know exactly what Sygic maps are, but assuming they're just like any other maps, most any Android phone with decent specs should be fine.

Anyway, of those you listed, I'd say the G3 and S5 are ahead of the Z2, and I'd say the G3 over the S5 because I liked the G2 much more than the S4. IMO, the best one out right now is the HTC One M8, and the OnePlus One looks interesting. The silly phone smash gimmicks have turned me off slightly, though. The Nexus 5 is also a great buy, and rumors point toward the line being discontinued, so you'll want to get one soon if you go the Nexus route.

Completely based on your choice of specs and your usage but Samsung products do good for me so I guess you can get an S5 or a G3 if you wanna go for LG.

Thanks for expressing your personal thoughts.

I got a Z2 after waiting for a while, has great hardware specs vs S5, but faced heating issues so returned.

Imagine if my old Dell with 4 GB RAM get heated why wont a phone with 3 GB RAM Quad core 2.3 get heated.

Personally don't prefer the HTC brand, LG Nexus is good but with no memory card option just 32 GB internal drive.

LG G3 looks great in most ways with decent hard ware specs lesser than Z2 but think it wont have heating issues, but it will be available for at least 1 month or may be more?

    Thanks again.

I believe the G3 comes out late June, could be wrong, just off the top of my head. Also, you can't really compare your Dell overheating to your phone, two different beasts.

Thanks again. Does a phone have a better cooling mechanism vs a laptop, 3200 mAh battery 2.3 Quad core, 3 GB of RAM

If money isn't an issue, which phone would you expert members get for yourself?

    Thanks.

There could have been a number of problems and reasons for overheating on your Dell, don't worry about it, it likely won't happen on your phone.

The HTC One M8, but since you already said that you weren't a fan of HTC, either the S5 or wait for the G3. In the end, it's up to you, you should consider going into a carrier store and testing out and playing around with the different devices.

Yuck, iCrap. Haha, I kid. iOS is alright, but I strongly dislike my iPhone 5, should have never left the Galaxy for my tastes, but I'll hopefully have an S5 within two weeks!
