Computer Mythbusters! Post your computer myths and answers for them!

Hi. Simply there are a quite lot of myths in the computer world! many that people didnt even know about!
Post as many myths and answers for them or let someone try to bust the myth!

My own little myth:
Myth: " DO NOT touch the delicate pins on the bottom of the amd cpu's! "
Answer: My freind has an old amd athlon x4 2.4Ghz cpu and we went crazy with it, we pressed the pins to our palms. Bent some pins on the bottom and bent them back to the original position without problem. We litterarly tryed to break the pins but no luck! if you got the cpu yourself you wouldnt notice it was used like this!
He now uses it as a cupholder!, I know that human oils is a factor but that is probably a bigger problem than the pins themselves becouse they are unbreakable! kinda..
