in these days none of these software makes money for microsoft
Yeah, sure. Then we had a situation something like in Linux already is: A Windows (Linux) core and tens of slightly different Windows (Linux) distros. Winbuntu users bashing WinMint users, WinDebi users not able to assist WinDriva users and so on.
Should the steering wheel be removed from all cars because automakers make no money in selling steering wheels?
Of course they make money for Microsoft, simply by being built-in native integral tools in the operating system they sell. A stripped to core Windows would be quite harder to sell.

You'd probably be surprised to know allot of people don't know where the accessories folder is
We should all be thankful that Microsoft has no intentions of doing this. For large numbers of individuals and organizations with malicious intent this would be a dream come true. In any event, Microsoft could not release this code even if they wanted to. There is substantial code in these products that was written by third parties and used under license. Releasing this code would be a violation of the license terms and a source of numerous expensive lawsuits.
