Maybe that limit should be lowered for specific user reputation levels? Just an idea.

I'm on Google Chrome for Android 4.4. Seems to be a very similar copy of the desktop version since many browser testing scores are exactly same.

Yes, this happens to me when my left mouse button switch starts wearing out and double clicks by itself. I just had to uninstall a Yahoo toolbar from YTD because of this.
