The FBI knows stranger Twitter acronyms than we do

If there's one thing Twitter has in common with the Washington, DC area, it's an overabundance of acronyms and abbreviations. Between Twitter’s 140-character limit and the capital beltway’s various nonprofits, think tanks, and administrative agencies, each with its own unique shorthand identifier, there are a lot of acronyms to keep up with.
In an attempt to tame the beast that is Twitter lingo, one such agency, the FBI, has compiled a “Twitter Shorthand” Guide. The 83-page information repository, featuring approximately 2,800 entries, was released after the transparency news site MuckRock filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the FBI in January, according to The Daily Dot.
Reading this was hilarious and also made me realize even more how nice it is to never have used Twitter.
