    rough times ahead for me

Hi fellow members. Just wanted to ask that you send positive thoughts and or prayers for my son Matt. Thursday night he suffered an anurism caused by kidney failure. His kidneys are at 10 percent so he will be a candidate for a transplant. He is in his thirties and reasonable good health so he should be able to recover. His brain surgery on Friday went well and he is in good spirits today. Dialysis will start this afternoon. We have a long hard road ahead of us. I will be here even less than before untill things stabilize. Thank you all for your help and support. I am glad to call every one of you my friends.

May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day.
May songbirds serenade you every step along the way.
May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue.
And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.
    ~Irish Blessing
All the best to Matt, and to you.

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. My mom supplied a donor kidney to my brother and she was 65+ years old at the time. While my brother passed on due to other reasons, mom is still going strong on one kidney 20 years later.

Thank you all. Doc says he has a months stay in the hospital until the excessive fluids drain from his head. He is joking and in rare form though I know it's hard for him. The doc also says if he manages things right he could be on dialysis as little as once a month.

    Another Irish Blessing:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
    And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

May God grant the best for Matt, you, and the rest of your family!
