I am in shock.... why... why?? I only saw from another member's signature about it.
Britton30 was very nice, very patient, and very helpful.
This is not the first time someone I know from the online world passed away and it is always so sad.
Rest in peace, Gary. Thank you for all your help. You are missed.

I apologize for not getting back to you with photo's taken at the Gary's (Britton 30) that I received from Pam and her son.R.I.P. Britton30-20140715_164253.jpg

There were more photo's but you get the jest of how the wake went for our dear friend who will never forget all the help he gave, his sense of humor, and how proud he was to get the MVP he sorely deserved.

There is a side note that I must post as it tells you a lot about the owner(John) and his right hand man(Shawn) and a few of us who played a part in his services.

Once I found out about Gary's passing I called Pam and found out he had no insurance and Pam was distraught on how she was going to pay for his cremation and wake.
I told Pam not to worry just find out how much it was going to cost and get back to me. Once I found out I got in touch with Steve(Essenbe) and included John to let him know what was going on.

To make a long story short my way was to complicated so John stepped up and said everything was taken care. Shawn wired the money to Pam to cover both the cremation and wake. Steve's, mine and and Aussie named John(ICit2lol) covered whatever else she needed.

I am telling you this because it is not often heard of for a owner(John/Shawn) of a company let alone a forum to pay for funeral services for virtual members. Our contribution was just icing on the cake for Pam and her cost to provide a very nice service for our good friend Gary.

So many thanks goes out to John and Shawn for a job well done. It speaks volumes of your care and concerns of your members who are in need. We all are proud to be part of not just another forum but a GREAT FORUM that not only helps others with their computer problems but are there for those who truly need assistance for other things closer to their hearts.

This should close out our RIP thread for Gary but not our daily thoughts of him and his family.
The same goes for Randy(Noobvious) who passed a week or so afterwards.

Very eloquently said, Dennis. I think John and Shawn proved what kind of people they really are by the more than generous way they handled this. My thanks go out to them. Gary was and still is a big part of this forum and of many our our daily lives. I think his spirit will live on in a part of each of us who knew him. This thread is an example of the type person Gary was. May God bless Gary and his Family. My thanks go out to John and Shawn for their generosity and their compassion to one who was and always will be a friend to me and many others here.
