Nice one Greg. I keep thinking about him, it's hard not to. I don't really know what else to say.

Mate we all are so very badly. It's kind of hard to know what to say. I was in shock for a day or so. I didn't realize what a big place in my heart he had until he had gone.

That was so nice Mike personally I was very much on the same wavelength as Gary and it still doesn't seem real. He was a great friend and mentor to me from the time I joined the forum. It is so hard to come across his posts and watch that video to take in he is not with us any more.
I think the fact I never got the chance to actually meet him is to me the worst thing as I was intending to visit later this year.
Frankly I don't know how to dig myself out of this hole I am in but Gary I am sure would have said just to keep on keeping on and I am trying but it is so hard.
He was simply brilliant at the graphical stuff and how he thought up my avatar is to me genius - if anyone is wondering the symbols in that pic of Australia (in itself priceless) is my name in Gaelic script. It is something that takes a very special skill and not only that he was so on the money with everything he helped me with.
    RIP my very missed friend.

It is good that everyone can post here. There are no true words to express the sadness we feel, Gary will always be felt by all of us. I read here to keep up, and struggle for the words to say.

I am still as you say mate struggling with words as he was really larger than life - in my mind at least. I just take heart from seeing how much he meant to so many and also that we still have the common purpose running through us on this forum and I think he would have approved whole heartedly that we carry on the good stuff we strive to do for others - just as he would have done if it were one of us.

I always liked Gary because he had a sense of humor. I also got a kick out of him getting grumpy when someone posted an acroynm that he didn't know. He had a lot of helpful knowledge, but he never made out like he was a know it all. He never spoke down to anyone, which is a peeve of mine. He was a "regular guy". A Guy
