Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Nicholas Byrd and I came to the site with a problem, which was quite frankly embarrassing for me.
I've been building custom systems for myself and as a side business for a full decade now, I also serve as the unofficial tech support guy of my very rural area, however I also worked as a very official Network and Systems Analyst/IBM iSeries - AS/400 Operator. I've done everything from customizing Linux distributions for a local free job center and getting them PCs being thrown out by a business in the city for free. Hopefully I will be more of a help than a question asker but we all have our moments right? :)
Anyway, I just wanted to give everyone an idea of who I am and what my background is, if anyone is into custom system builds or would like an opinion for their build, or just has a question they think I might can answer, feel free! I started having epileptic seizures five years ago, ruptured three discs later on, developed ulnar neuropathy in both arms, and during a seizure broke my collarbone in several places and destroyed part of my should resulting in it being reconstructed, so I actually have a lot of free time on my hands for the foreseeable future.
