Been smoking three years now, went from straights(Normal cigarettes) to hand rolling tobacco, saving me a shit tone of money, tastes better and i get a lot more bang for my buck! I tried the "Shisha" pens, had one for a bout a week, first few days i was loving it, my mind would be telling me "Go for a cigarette" so id be like, ok, whip out the shisha pen, puff puff, craving gone, that sadly, only lasted a few days, after then it seemed to just make the craving worse. They taste nice though and i still use it when on the bus, car, train etc. Down to between 4-6 cigarettes a day now which im really chuffed with, considering i used to be on 20 a day.

Not too different than the Blu which for me never was strong enough or the battery never lasted long enough to really be viable
The inferno was the device that actually finally got me off cigs completely,
Then I got a itaste because of the freaking wacky long battery life should of probably got a mod with a replaceable battery but it's all good

Congrats on cutting down that is hard to do Devlin
    Derek was a roller too

The first week, maybe two, is the hardest because you still have to overcome the physical aspect of everything.

The cheaper "pen" type units didn't help me much at all. Not exactly sure why, but they didn't produce a satisfying vape for me is probably the best reason.

The first unit that actually helped was when I got my Volcano Inferno. Still some cravings that 1st week, but stuck with it and it was all easy from then on.
From there I moved up to bigger nicer mods/tanks. But that was more due to wanting to experience variables etc rather than the need to do so.

While I like the fact that vapers have or are trying to give up smoking for real, these e-cigarettes are supposed to be an aid, not a full-time replacement. 2 of my friends as well as my brother are draggig on them all the time - there are even shops that sell the perfumes to go ion them...

I gave up smoking cold turkey 12 years ago and am not going to start 'vaping' now to replace that with another annoying habit, so my answer is of course in the negative.
People don't believe it when I tell them they actually do not need to have any level of nicotine in the eliquids they select just to get away from the urges. I tell that I have known a number of people that simply quit Cold Turkey and never looked back to their disbelief. You didn't see ecigs of any type on the market decades ago!

A little will power and determination to break the habit of repetition is all that is needed! Unfortunately for some even having quit decades ago wasn't soon enough for some. I know someone who is required to carry portable oxygen with her at all times due to the lack of ability to expell carbon dioxide and take fresh oxygen in a normal breathing fashion which I suspect may be a weakness that came about from decades of smoking in past decades.

You might be interested in this. Appaerently some alleged health organisations are opposed to vaping - yet they have no evidence whatsoever to base it on.

    Here is the truth:

March 2014 statement on the Royal College of Physicians website that ‘the main benefit of e-cigarettes is that they provide inhalable nicotine in a formulation that mimics the behavioural components of smoking but has relatively little risk… Switching completely from tobacco to e-cigarettes achieves much the same in health terms as does quitting smoking and all nicotine use completely. Furthermore… risks associated with passive exposure to e-cigarette vapour are far less than those associated with passive exposure to tobacco smoke.’

Current state of knowledge about chemistry of liquids and aerosols associated with
electronic cigarettes indicates that there is no evidence that vaping produces inhalable
exposures to contaminants of the aerosol that would warrant health concerns by the
standards that are used to ensure safety of workplaces
. ... Exposures of bystanders are likely
to be orders of magnitude less, and thus pose no apparent concern
