Yes the coils are 0.5ohm.

Before I got it, I thought vaping at 25-35 watts would be deadly on the throat but at 27 watts it's actually very nice and smooth. It's warm and gives a great flavor. 30 watts comes in at 4.2v on this thing. Don't even ask me to explain how that works. I think 12 watts on my vamo with the nautilus is 4.2v too. Hawk is the man to explain that stuff lol.

It's literally a different world to the nautilus.

I can't fault the IPV V2 either. It's an excellent bit of kit and with the purple efest it's lasting the day.

I seem to be vaping a lot less now. The new stuff just gives such a hit I simply don't need to be chugging on it nonstop like before.

Overall very pleased with my recent purchases.

I ended up investing a little more then expected but will be worth it in the long run since I won't be still looking for newer things for some time once everything comes in which includes two more Atlantis tanks to go on the SMOK BEC Pro , Dovpo E-LVT 2.0 30w , I mentioned before plus finding a Cyber Monday bargain at a new US vendor for the ZNA 50 50watt mod there to have a pair of 50watters since the Atlantis is geared for the higher wattages.

Lately I have seen a dripper RDA however with a well that holds about 1ml with a separate 3ml tank that drips into the well automatically each time you go to take a good hit from it. But you also have to wrap and wick it first before use. As far as the comparison between the two tanks I still get great hits from both actually since while drawing just a little longer on the Nautilus you are running at lower wattage while with the Atlantis you have to wait a few seconds before you can start drawing on it since it takes longer to heat the coil up right now only seeing 15w max on the VTR until the others come in.

One thing I found when swapping flavors fast is only draining not rinsing out the Atllantis for the first cleaning. I had a Peppermint Cappucino flavor in first and now a Dark Roast coffee flavor where I can now taste the coffee at the higher wattage. He should be good there once he gets to trying out several flavors to see what works best with which tank/mod at what power level.

With most other tanks tried so far they max out well before 15w getting hot at 10w even unless going with the high resistance atomizer or coils per clearomizer or tank. Not too many are made for the high wattage devices now being seen with 15w being the high end up until the last year or so! Due to that I was quite skeptical here when people kept mentioning wanting a 50 or 100w mod until getting into this new one first having heard about RDAs however.

I was looking at the IPV 2 and IPV 3 versions one being the 50w and the new one a 150w mod there. The price tags were a bit too steep however! I grabbed the ZNA 50 Mod usually seen for $99 to $135 for only $74.44 earlier tonight when spotting a sale going on it! I wanted to get it at a US vendor not Fasttech or some unknown Chinese site found for $46 and what? $8 wait a month to be shipped? $50 for a 7 to 14 day wait was out there!!! NADA....!!!

The Eleaf iSticks have proven themselves to be quite handy and worth the effort for 20w on the compact side while still needing a small tank that will handle the higher watts but not be too large in size which brings you back to the 2ml tanks like the Nautilus mini while I keep a Smok Tumbler 2.5ml fits over 3ml tank the pair here. Also grabbed a pair of Bending Adapters that allows you to carry it around in the watch pocket on a pair of dungaree jeans unnoticed! With a Tumbler on here I the adapter made it a perfect fit without worries about it falling out when going some place!

You will love the istick I am sure Derek. I got one a while back as a present for someone and I had to test it out first lol. It was very good.
That mini IPV looks nice, it goes down to 0.3ohm so can handle the Atlantis coils too. Yes, I like the fact you can replace the battery in mine, you can chose a high quality battery and then when it's losing it's punch you can replace it (hopefully months down the line).

I certainly don't have to wait for a few seconds for the Atlantis coil to heat up on my setup. At 25-35 watts it's good to go as soon as you fire the button.

Well for the next day or so the problem here is not being able to fire the tank up on either the Eleaf iStick or Vamo V6 which I should gone with the V8 35w but figured I wouldn't be running over 10w anyways until the Atlantis resurfaced. (Atlantis resurfaced? That can't be right!) surfaced rather! (never mind he's being a )

Well anyways last year at this time I was just starting to get into the Variable wattage stuff starting with the MVP 2.0 and Black Friday discounts on the iTaste VV v3.0s ending up with four of those 800mah batteries which still seemed a bit too small for the tanks since the tanks outlasted the batteries before each recharge! Then came the Smok ACEs with 18650 battieries and the Smok Groove II that dies early on me back in June! "cheap plastic piece of..."!

This is why I wasn't even going to bother with the iSticks on first sight after going for the VTR where if the battery craps you simply pull it out and dump it for another! The BEC Pro and Vamo Fire(wooden body 20w version) as well as the Dovpo E-LVT and now the ZNA 50 added to the list will far outweigh the performance for the investment this time around!

Those plus the new tanks being five Nautilus and three Atlantis as well as every vendor tossing ejuice at me plus what was ordered and the three full boxes should keep me busy for some time!

Lol, yes it should keep you busy for quite a while!

The only things I am waiting on now that I ordered last week are 5x replacement BVC coils, 5x Replacement Atlantis coils, 30ml of 6mg Sweeney Todd and 100ml of 6mg Custard cream.

The Atlantis coils are very big compared to the Nautilus one's aren't they! But they sure pack a punch!
I bet you are looking forward to trying them at a decent wattage.

The main reason they have to be quite a bit larger the typical replacements you see for other tanks is not wattage but "Amperage"! When a mod puts out 20, 30, 40, 50 watts or more a much higher current value is being drained from the battery whether the permanent sealed battery or one of the replaceable types(18350, 18500, 18650, 26650, etc.).

Often you will the recommendation on vendor's page to use High Drain batteries like the rec for the VTR sees. These are often used in mechanical as well as regulated mods to allow for sub ohming atomizer that will pull down on the batteries and why you may people talking about 5A, 7A, 10A not being enaough for their mods. The best advice however to pass along is that high output on mech mods is best left for the advanced user as well as rebuilding atomizers until you are a bit more confident enough to take baby steps at first. Non regulated mods and trying to fast charge batteries at higher voltages with various other then factory advised can be risky! Batteries for vaping are no different then any other rechargeable types where common sense has to come into play!

Here I got backed too quickly with extra flavors and smaller 1300 to 2000mah VV/VW batteries mostly using the eGo-V V3 and onto the new V4 Mega usb passthrough capable batteries. Those are 3-15w just like the VTR and Smok ACEs as well as had been seen with the Smok Groove II mod. Smoktech has another one on the way similar to replace the Groove series with an updated 50w model box mod that looks much like these other 50-100w deals seen lately.

I'm hoping to catch on the extra since a few friends actually backed away from vaping to continue on with their smoking habits even while one claimed... haa haaa to be wanting to but never intended to seriously quit. For me since menthol controls allergies I had relentlessly fallen back into smoking as a habit having not found anything like ecigs while back in 2009 when the 7 RCs were what people were working with I would run into the terms electronic or smokeless cigarette without any other information found.

The smokeless sounded to me like chew not anything electronic while the electronic sounded more like a novelty item like a fake cig filled with candy or something a kid could play with just having a light at the end. Now where we are at pricing during Black Friday and Cyber Monday week for things to vape with! It's kind of ironic in that sense.

After looking at Paul's latest mod, I looked around and found this. It comes out in a few weeks and looks good
