    @paulpicks21
Very Nice!!! I take it the transition is going well for you?
MVP is supposed to be very very good.

LOL at the overclocking. I guess in a way thats exactlly what it is though!
You're next step will be to move into rebuildables like the Kayfun Lite Plus or Drippers!!

Although the Kanger Tanks are still my favorites in the replaceable atomizer style. Still have and use my Aero from time to time. Can't go wrong with a Kanger IMHO.

Variable is certainly the way to go. Amazing how much better they make juices taste when you can start tweaking to get it just right.
You'll likely find, as I have, some juices actually do much better at lower power and some do better cranked up.
My average sweet spot is around 4.2-4.4V unless I'm trying to produce some really huge clouds just for fun.

Just a thought. Its one of those things about getting started in vaping.
In ways you want to start cheap (I did) in case you dont like it.
But almost everyone I know including myself starts off with something cheap, then a month - 2 months later end up with a variable mod of some form.
Almost makes want to start telling everyone just start there from day 1. It's cheaper in the long run.

    @z3r010
Thats exactlly what happened to me! I never noticed the smell of a cigarette that much when I smoked. But now, I can be walking my dog in the back yard, and smell the cigarette smoke from my nieghboprs house. And it seems as if it just lingers... really odd how you really pick it up. Or smell it as someone walks by that had just had a smoke.
There was a time it would make me crave a one. Not anymore.

OK guys, all of you owe me money. Because of you, I took the plunge and will give the Inferno a shot. It is supposed to be delivered Tomorrow. Crap that stuff is expensive. I spent as much on the juices as the Inferno costs, and have no idea what they will taste like. Very unlike me.
    Did the kit arrive?
Yes, it arrived yesterday. I'm having serious problems with it. I'll just have to try to figure it out, I guess.

    What kind of problems?
I can probably help. I know the Inferno set up up very well.

Every time I try to inhale, no matter how little, my throat closes up and I have coughing fits. No matter how little vapor I use. I'm waiting for it to run out and clean it with alcohol, put in a new burner and try it again. I haven't quit, I am still trying. I don't give up very easily.

    Oh I see.

    Ok 2 possible causes/fixes here.

For some, vapor tends to be very harsh at first. It will pass in time but usually you get used to it within an hour 2.
Sometimes smaller inhales at first will help.

But, theres a few factors you need to consider and figure it out from there.

First is the nicotine level. The higher the nicotine level, the more of a throat hit you get.
Second, is the flavor of the juice. Some are stronger than others. perhaps try a milder flavor for now? What flavors did you get if you dont mind me asking?

And the last thing that could cause your issues is PG (Propelyne Glycol)

I'll try to explain this so it makes sense.
E-juice is made of 3 main ingredients (excluding flavoring). Nicotine and a mix of 2 carriers PG (Proplene Glycon, and VG (Vegetable Glyceryn)

The PG doesnt create much vapor. But it provides the throat hit, and enhances flavors. Its also a thin and water like.
VG provided a lot of vapor. It doesn't provide any throat hit and is smooth on the inhale. It also adds a sweetness to the Ejuice. But its very thick.

These 2 are usually combined with nicotine and flavorings to make the E-juice. A very common mix (And Volcano Ejuice uses this blend) is 70%PG / 30%VG.

The one thing you need to be on the look out for though is this. Some people, although its rare, can have a reaction to the PG. It may simply be that your body doesn't like it.
If thats the case going with something far lighter on the PG will help alot.
So basically, something like 50/50 or 40PG/60VG may be better for you. I prefer mixes like this myself. Maybe even as far as 30PG/70VG.

A cheap way to try this would be go to Walmart and a small bottle of VG. Just make sure its Pure, pharmaceutical grade.
Mix one of of flavors with the VG. 2/3 juice to 1/3 pure VG.

This will cut down the flavor and nicotine level since you diluting it. But it will also make a smooth vape. It'll produce alot more vapor too.
Mix well and try that. If that helps, it very well may be just too much PG for you.

Pure VG blends are possible too. Some Vendors make Pure VG Ejuice. Or you can make your own. But its too thick to vape as is so needs to be thinned a bit with water.

Although being allergic probably isn't likely as its rare, though it is possible.

Thanks Jessie, I appreciate it. I need all the help I can get. I rally don't know much about it. I was having a lot of trouble with 'Apple Pie' from Volcano. On the bottles all mine say is PG, no mention of VG or any mix. I just changed it out and used a chocolate one which seems a little better but still too harsh on the throat. I also have some Grape liquid. I think I may buy some VG and try that, maybe not quite as strong a dose either. I smoke a lot, so I got the strongest nicotine level. I may try to drop the level next as well as go with the VG.

As you say, I'll just keep playing around with it and find the way that works best for me. I have no intention on quitting it now, just trying to make it work. thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll have more questions later.

Yea there is a tweaking period of use,
That's why I got one of the popular ones that basically has no real tweaks other than basic inhalation changes from the real thing,
But going from 2 packs a day to a pack every 2 days is an improvement but that took a long time to accomplish

I've been using BLU for a couple of years almost I'm sure they've gotten better over the years as far as battery life and replaceable tips go,
My old model is still working good but there are a couple of tricks to using it,
Inhaling you do need to go a bit slow and steady compared to a real cig
Some times I inhale like a lefty "joint" and get a pretty good buzz but still slow and steady
How are those Mike? I looked at one today. Sounds a lot simpler for just trying one out.

I haven't tried the new ones but now are available in most drug stores as a totally disposable model Blu
I have to say many were coming out for the "Vaping crowd" and I did read allot of stuff/ reviews...
Blu has a 30 day refund like all of them I suppose "take note of shipping times" that when it starts
I know a few people that gave up on the adding juice models because they are a pain to mess with and have actually more parts to keep up with,

What I really liked about Blu like a few others was the pure ease of use and ultra portability
Which made it more attractive for me to actually use it and not stuff it in a drawer and forget it
The new models are probably better like I said mine now is almost two years old :)
    batteries still working well

That sounds like something more like what I would rather try, what brand of cigarettes did you smoke before?
