Earthquakes, if you have never experienced a big one, are hard to describe. There is something completely unsettling about the whole earth moving. It makes you skittish for a long while after. Each truck that rumbles by, people running along the walkways of the building, you tense up for a moment. Lived here in California my whole life. Like to stay real still in an earthquake to feel the whole thing. Only once did the earthquake feel like "RUN OUTSIDE".

It makes you wonder if it won't stop, and will be "The Big One" we all know is coming. But overall, I wouldn't live anywhere else

"RUN OUTSIDE" is the silliest thing to do during an earth quake yet is very helpful. Not unless you ran out towards a nearby building, then the death is sure. Sad to see some people panic and forgot that.

I was in a very high ceilinged, concrete slab building with a big parking lot. I guarantee you outside would have been a better alternative if that building collapsed. A Guy

Today I finally managed to confirm my internship for the end of this year! I'll be spending half a year in Brussels speaking French and doing fancy stuff as a Junior Management Consultant in one of the biggest companies out there! Really stoked about it, especially since I'll be working closely...
