I guess we are all someone named something that no one has heard about nor cares about.
Nevertheless, he (Prince) wasn't my taste in music but very many people liked and bought his music. I think it's sad he died at only 57.

Nigel, look what you made me do!

I was writing "There're two S's..."
then wondered whether "there're" usage is correct or not..

According to http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/12865/is-therere-similar-to-theres-a-correct-contraction, it looks like a deep discussion

I will revise as "there are two ..." and move along!

Should I thank you for making me curious or be sad for my 5 minutes?

"There're" is not a word form I can remember seeing even in US publications, where phonetic spelling is much more common than in the real written English language.

In this case I would probably do as was suggested in the link, "There Are" ... or change the structure to allow the more common "There's"

rather than ... "There're towels in the cupboard" would be ... There are towels in the cupboard" or even ... "There's a number of towels in the cupboard"

I suppose the test of the validity of any contraction is whether it reflects the spoken language. I don't think it does in this case.

Today I finally managed to confirm my internship for the end of this year! I'll be spending half a year in Brussels speaking French and doing fancy stuff as a Junior Management Consultant in one of the biggest companies out there! Really stoked about it, especially since I'll be working closely...
