Thought it was him as soon as I saw his name and the way he posted. Wonder how long he'll last this time.
Shorter than it takes the 502 to get from the bus depot to the filling station.....

    Today.....

Today we put our business up for sale. We hope to sell in the next 2 months as my mother-in-law's dementia is worsening. We will be moving an hour from here and into her home of 25 years to keep her in as close to her normal environment for as long as possible. She will most likely need 24-7 care before the year is out but we hope to stave off some of the effects by monitoring her meds and getting her diet under control. She is living on raisin bran and yogurt. I will most likely be trying to find work in the IT field in a small casino town. (unlikely at best) Or working out of my garage for a time. Wish me luck.

Welcome back, enjoy your stay till you flood this place with bus pictures.
Carlos should've told me to continue his enthusiasm with taking pictures of buses, I'm starting to like bus photography huehuehuehue

Thank you all for the best wishes. We will do ok. It is just another chapter as it were. 7 years in business is hard to let go of but at least I accomplished something. I have lots of friends and support from family and from our American Legion family as well. The worst part now is packing everything up and putting it in climate controlled storage. (Photos and stuff don't last in 120 degree heat). Our lives will change of course but that is too be expected and I know that when I am challenged I rise up to it and do what is necessary and then some. Perhaps in the next couple of years the treatment they are experimenting with for dementia will be available and will help her.
