Today (actually yesterday as per the clock) was a very bad day for me. I had a not very pleasant conversation with a very senior person in a seminar, who was my teacher, too. Later I expressed my apologies for making him feel bad without changing by opinion on which we disagreed. But he is a powerful man, some other people told me it will go bad for me in future.

Then in the evening I opened my laptop (it was overheating), cleaned it, applied new thermal paste. When re-seated, the HDD is not powering on. In the morning I will work on it again.

Two bitter feelings in a same day, not a very usual day it was.

Today I found out that my LCD TV's mainboard was fried during last night's thunderstorm. I use a surge protector and the repair tech confirmed the power supply unit working properly. The surge most probably came in from the cable company's line. The modem dropped connection same moment the TV shut off and they had to work for 12hrs to fix it for the region. That's 100USD down the drain and no TV till Tuesday.

Well Today we have made the changes necessary to take care of my mom in law whom has dementia. We were unable to sell the business on such short notice but we are not willing to give it up just yet. The town we are moving to is 92 miles away but we have a few customers there and so we are moving the base of the business to them. I will still be coming back to Havasu twice a month or more depending on need and doing service calls. We will be keeping all of our business customers and they are fine with the fact that it will take an extra hour and a half or so to be in site. We signed the lease on a smaller office at a great location and will get the keys on Sunday (Mothers Day) when we go over to take Mom out for brunch.

Everything seems to be falling into place albeit a bit tight at times. Once we settle in and I get the doors reopened I will try to come back here and help a bit. No idea how much yet but we will get there. I want to thank all of you who have had us in your thoughts as I believe it is working. :)

I wont say goodbye but rather see you all soon.

    Thanks again

Arc, are you OK? I just read about today's earthquake, seems to be almost exactly the same region than this last one which is most affected.

The 7 gods are sad Archie 8.1 must be removed immediately for calm to exist
    On a serious note,
Hope your doing well and your family and friends as well.
