    Thanks but I don't feel like VIP material, or at least not yet, haven't contributed that much but this might also just be the "unpretentious" me speaking.

    When we went from Vista Forums to the new Seven Forums it was decided that the sites related to totally different subject matter and thus should be separate.

    Rep, badges, and other awards earned at one site should not carry over to the next.

    However, a lot of respected members who had proved their general computer knowledge and ability to learn and pass on this knowledge, joined the new site, often re-using their user name. It was decided that these proven members should be advanced manually to VIP level.

    We have maintained this policy as new sites have started and the same applies to members joining TenForums :)
