Seizure after tooth extraction. Is it normal?

Hello, I just had my tooth pulled because it's cracked, No pain during extraction.
Then we went home and my mom left the house the buy the prescribed medeicine. After few minutes, I started having seizure and I can't control it and it was gone after 30 minutes. Is it normal?

Not a medical person but NO!
You could have an abscess or other serious infection. You may have had a delayed reaction to the anesthetic. I'd get it checked out if it was me.

It's been hours now and haven't got seizures yet. I guess it was the anesthetic went directly to my brain. The socket is clotting(healing) I will check if I get w 2nd seizure. Went to the doctor and the results shows nothing worrying.

Yeah, I'd be concerned about that. I'm glad the doctor says everything looks ok, but be sure to have someone with you for the next day or two to help you if needed.

No its not normal. And unless they put you to sleep, its just a local (usually just a few shots of Novacaine)

Most have no issue either way.

But seizures can be a serious issue. In fact, the seizure may not even be related to your trip to the dentist. it just so happened to occur shortly after making it seem as if its related.

I would try to see a specialist about it. Explain everything and have them check you out.
Not diabetic are you or been checked for it?

Did you get an "eye tooth" pulled. If I remember correctly, that one can have bad effects since it has something to do with it's proximity to one of the main nerves.

I would contact the dentist (or a doctor) ASAP.

You probablly feel better by now but perosnally I didnt have it but from the day(specially the day) of the
extraction my gum was bleeding A LOT and I was biting down onto the piece of clean gauze they gave
    me at the clinic.

Take your antibiotics which I think you are given and drink plenty of water (do NOT use straws)

Well it's now months and haven't got another seizure, I think it was better than getting high on anesthetic Lol.
