The last time I took the test, I got 58 WPM. Now how does that sound?

I'm also a touch typist. I touch the keyboard with two fingers when typing. Actually, I use the scriptural method of typing—seek and ye shall find. All seriousness aside, when I was in High School, I begged my parents to let me take typing since my penmanship was (still is) so horrible. After a lot of hard work, I was able to get up to a rip roaring 19 wpm. And promptly forgot everything I learned.

I learned to type with ten fingers, but for some reason I'm typing faster with six!

I wanted to stay on an extra year to finish the shorthand course that I was taking with the typing at school but no as far as my parents were concerned I had to leave and start work, so at 15 I left school to start work in a factory.

I learned to receive Morse Code at 30 WPM on a good day so that is all the faster I had to type. 5 letter groups with no rime or reason so you are all over the keyboard without any pattern.

The great advantage was you didn't have to know how to spell. All I had to do is type what I heard in Morse Code.

I recently took apart my Samsung laptop because the power jack was broken. I realized that it needs to be soldered off and then solder a new one on. Since I did not have the materials and I did not want to forget how to put the laptop back together, I put it together now instead of waiting for the...

How fast can you type? Use the website linked below to test your speed. I just managed 68. Sure, Shawn will probably get somewhere in the millions as will you oldies... but I tried. :p Anyway, give it a go. It would be interesting to see who can type the fastest. :) TypingTest.com - Free Typing...

No words!!
I am running 7048 32bit, and to me it seems a bit sluggish compared to 7022. Maybe I'm just oversensitive. HA! Anyway, the one anoying thing is, that I have no words in the normal pop up boxes. How do I explain this? You know, when you click on an email to delete it for example, and you get...

Hi there, just a few words from me
Hi guys, I just registered for this awesome forum. I'd just like to complement the design. I think this is one of the best looking forums I've ever been on! It's clean, nice, and makes me feel as if I am not on line but rather still just being in another part of Windows 7 :sarc:. Keep up...
