This is Hairy Neandertal me and my lovely missus, at a family function in 2011. Notice my glass is empty. Second is from one of our regular boat trips around the lake in Zell am See, Austria, 2007. I am not much changed apart from less hair and more wrinkles. Missus says my eyes disappear into more wrinkles when I smile.

#1 is my granddaughter, current Lincolnshire Junior Archery champ. Hope to see her in Brazil, 2016!
#2 is me, wife, my mate Vic from Oz. We were friends and big buds from childhood, same age, grew up around the corner from each other. I joined the army at 19, he left to marry, work and live in New South wales at 22. A few years ago we contacted again and both had life-threatening operations, within a few months of each other, after serious illness. Now he visits us in the spring, stays through the summer and it's like we never were apart. Fortunately he was not involved in the terrible fires that have been happening in Oz. My sympathy to anyone who has been affected by that, btw. Our thoughts here in Pom-land are with you.
