I don't see any blue lights anywhere, I think it is something built in that we can't see. It is probably what makes the white pages look so bright, that is just a guess.

Just as a point of interest. Most LED monitors and televisions have pure white LEDs in them, so there is no danger of blue light as I understand it.

Now the piercing blue LEDs they seem to stick into everything these days... That's a different story. :)

Most of the devices I have are on a shelf in the linen closet in my bathroom, including the worst blue light offender, the Huawei cellular home phone transceiver (you can read by the blue light that sucker puts out; K-Mart is jealous). I muted the few lights, especially the blue ones, in my bedroom by taking an ultra fine Sharpie black felt pen to them. That blocks most of the light without completely obliterating them and you have to get really close to see what I did. The price was also right since I had already had the pen on hand.

I don't think blue light can be seen. It's like radiation from cells, it can't be seen. It is a blue light emissions.

I use electrical tape :). But seriously, if you are worried about it on your screens then you can look into f.lux. I have noticed it harder to sleep if I don't cover pretty much every blue led in my room with something.

I have f.lux on my computer and I found an apple site that confirmed the update was Night Shift and the info the doctor gave me.
