Iphone Users - You've been infected

    Hi all
Apple users can no longer be smug when discussing Security any more.

Because of the HUGE popularity if Apple's I-phones a worm has been discovered -- it was only a matter of time now the user base is so huge and people want FREE APPSs.

(If the Apple OS had as many users as Windows they wouldn't be so smug either -- I'll bet most Linux users on this site regualrly use root even for simple routine maintenance tasks which leaves even a Linux system open to exploitation).

    Anyway have a read.

Actually, I am going to continue to act Smug:

"The worm, known as ikee, only affects "jail-broken" phones, where a user has removed Apple's protection mechanisms to allow the phone to run any software."

It only affects Jailbroken phones, so as long as you "play by the rules" you are fine. Which makes complete sense. Doing this Jailbreak will unfortunately exploit you to many things ... like worms.
