    It looks like the default web page after installing Windows server for the first time.

    I usually go to Is It Down Or Just Me? and check there

    Yeah it is down, there was a corruption in the database, depending on how much work it takes to fix, it may or may not be back.

    Whew! Thought it was just me........... Hope it can be salvaged I kinda liked all the various topics there. But maybe we can get Samuria from there to come here if its lost. The man was good, lotta help from him there.

    I don't know how forum setup works. This is just an suggestion, could you turn the Vista forum into the pchelpforum if the original forum can't be restored?

    That wouldn't work. There are different sections on pchelp and Vista forums and posts specific to one forum but not the other. I posted on pchelp but never on the Vista forum. There are others who posted on Vista but never on pchelp.

    Sometimes forums use the last backup when the database gets corrupted and a few weeks of posts are lost because of the date of the backup. They usually post an announcement at the top letting the users know that posts were lost because of having to restore to a backup database.

    It's not looking good, all of the backups also have a corruption in the database so the only option is repair which I have been working on with little success.
