    Battery for a Samsung S5

I have a Samsung S5 phone and it has the G900 i9600 Battery 2800mAh in it and a replacement is about $10 but I have seen on EBay a genric brand sold in Aiustralia 4350mAH Li-ion Golden Replacement Battery for Samsung Galaxy S5 G900 i9600 for about $13.

Now my concern is what would be the best thing to do taking into mind it is generic as I don't want to wreck the phone just a;st longer because I am only getting a day of fairly light use out of the current battery that came with the phone.

    Any advice please??

Interesting about the price. I and my son have an S4. My son's battery experienced the common battery swelling problem and a replacement battery cost him $40. So $10-13 seems very low.

Yep MJF mine is not so bulging - it looks ok but just runs out of charge on a very erratic basis so I am just thinking it might be ending it's useful life not that it has been that good all along to be honest even trying all the tricks of running it on the lowest settings.

The two batteries I found were these
AU NEW Genuine Original Samsung Galaxy S5 G900 I9600 Battery 2800mAh | eBay

AU Stock Golden 4350mAh FOR Samsung Galaxy S5 Battery Replacement G900 I9600 | eBay

Again I am not sure of that generic one.

    Hi,
Yea looks like Samsung is having fun with the Galaxy note 7 seems like only the China versions though because they used another vender for it
Samsung recalls Galaxy Note 7 after battery explosions - Houston Chronicle

Should of read closer it was the ones sold in China that were good and not recalled
China is not affected by the sales suspension. The company said it used a battery made by another supplier for the Note 7s sold in China.
