Advice On Cleaning Keyboard.

    it's not quite up there with putting a failing hard drive in the freezer (which does work btw) , but trust me, the shower works.

    well science does explain that one..lol
    but yeah for me by the time that happens the keyboard is physically needed to be exchanged (for other reasons)...

    and as long as its dry it should be okay....:)

    The tops of most keyboards today come off easily by removing the screws as Brink posted.
    Also, most have a rubberized "mat" under it to keep liquids away from the circuit board and for the key press connections. This also can easily be washed and dried and your KB will be as good as knew..

    The shower? With a keyboard? Apparently that's not all that strange...

    ....there are 322 internationally recognized types of keyboard fluff and Number 37 is a common variety. However, when you’ve worked with fluff as long as I have you...
