2010 FIFA World Cup

It's coming... and it's coming QUICK!!! Living in Cape Town I'm right in the thick of things. I'm German - living in SA the last 8 years - so I'm supporting my home country, currently ranked fifth...

You guys have any favourites?

Hi there
ANYBODY except FRANCE -- they shouldn't be going. That match against Rep. of Ireland was a DISGRACE.

England are beginning to look good but for sheer crowd pleasure you can't do better than be drinking beer in a huge crowd of DUTCH supporters all crazily decked out in Orange.

I'm sure the Dutch will be up there in the final rounds.

Perhaps this time one of the African Nations might do a bit better -- there's plenty of good African players in Europe at the moment --Drogba (Chelsea) for one --loads of others.

Cheers
jimbo.

I couldn't agree more with Jimbo45, anybody but France.

Agreed with both the above. Lot of French handballs recently. Or is it just that we're noticing them more because of Thierry Henry.

Thanks,
