Hey after I typed all this below I noticed somebody awarded me a supporter badge.
Thanks !! (but I still wouldnt mid donating if the option ever comes back)

If it helps Dave I just noticed that in Aaron's post about Reputation and Badges he has a Donate link button, not sure if it still works but it's there if you want it.
