In Finland, you declare your taxes from last calendar year before end of the February following year. Sometime September / October you get a brief to tell how much more you have to pay, or how much you are getting back. Beginning of December you then either pay more or get the returns.

So yes, I meant 2009.

Similar to over here Kari, your tax returns are for the year up until April 5th and you have until the end of October if sending by post and the end of January if posting online. This is the last year you can send by post it all has to be done online from now on but they don't make it easy, it's not so bad if you are just one person but if you are a partnership the tax office don't have the necessary forms to accept them you have to buy a program to send a partnership tax return.
