What are you getting your .......... for xmas?

It's that time of year again when I struggle to find a present for the old ball and chain.

What are you getting your wife/GF/BF/husband etc for xmas?

That's a nice way of putting it, SGT, the old ball and chain. You're not the only one who's struggling - I am as well. Heck, I don't even know what I want for myself, let alone anybody else. Ah well, I suppose it'll have to be a card (the relatively easy part, although for what they are they're expensive), a box of choccies and/or a CD/DVD. :) I have been known to get them on Xmas eve.

I'm getting my GF a new pool cue. She doesn't play billiards, but maybe she'll let me borrow it.

I have bought my husband the new Wii cricket game with bat, a 40 x 40 canvas print of me and our daughter and a few cook books. Will probably throw a new surround sound in the mix but it depends if I have enough time to go out and find a decent one.

Women don't think right, getting them something useful only makes them mad; you need to think about the "hints" you may have heard her mention and get her something frivolous, not practical, she won't like that any better than she did the vacuum.

I hope you are not talking about my Angie... Seriously, my Angie would cause great pain and bodily harm if she got household items!

She's getting a painting of one of her favorite painters, and a gift certificate to a wellness spa weekend. (First it was only the spa but then I heard rumors she's getting me something special so I had to add something.)

Im happily single, but the grandkids, brothers and sisters will keep me busy and broke this week....
