Hello - I would like to discuss with all the following subject:
I have shopped around for software online and one source I found, which works for me is BuyCheapSoftware. I shopped around to see if I could buy Windows 7 for less, because I think that in April Windows RC goes belly-up. I did some searching and found a Website called Shoparhive with what appears to be Legal Legitimate Microsoft Logo's and official software. There is another website us-shoppingonline.com which has affiliation with Amazon.com (see the site for details). Both sites have similar deals. I purchased ay Shoparhive, using PayPal, the Windows 7 Professional Upgrade for $125.00. About 30 minutes later I was able to download and make DVD's for both the 32 bit & 64 bit versions. In the morning, less than the 24 hours they said it would take, they sent me a link for an official key. I did a clean install over Windows 7 RC 64 bit - no request from the software was made for my Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit DVD and in about 4 hours I had completely reloaded my system. The software activated seemlessly. I am also beta testing Office 2010 Beta w/ Visio and it also reinstalled seemlessly. Outlook found all of the account information for my 3 e-mail accounts.
My point to this is why can a person buy that software that cheap? Also in reading the forum I see a lot of hoopla about what version can I use, do I need to have clean install - stuff like that?? None of that happened in my experience. I wrote this, this way because I am still wondering - considering all the information - how I had such a great experience. I would really like to discuss this with all the people that frequent the Windows 7 forum. Could anyone & everyone that has expertise and understanding of how all this "stuff" works together, Please comment - ?? God's Speed Patrick C
