What you do with your old usb flash drive?

    Hi guys,
I wonder what you guys do with old usb flash drives?

I have 512 MB flash drive just lying there doing nothing. I just sometimes use it to carry my documents I need for study. But I don't need it now. And most of the times I can just pick up my whole laptop with me.

Is it yours just lying around aswell? :)
Or you do some cool stuff with it?

I know several things to do like:

    1. Encrypt my PC, so I can open it only with my USB flash drive or rescue code (in case something happens to USB drive) (BitLocker, TrueCrypt)
    2. Portable Apps...
    3. AV, Anti-spyware and so on.. bootabble scanners
    4. Some Linux. It is the same as Ubuntu Live CD but on your Usb flash drive, so you can even have live session..

    and so on..

    what you guys do?
or if you don't do, do you have any cool ideas?

I work in IT and my wife in Hospitality Sales, so we have tones of USB sticks floating around.

I give them to my nephew's and niece's
I create a usb recovery disks
I have also given one to my father and another to my wife with an encypted copy of all of my password (I use Keepass portable for this). My wife and my Dad (in that order) both have power of attorney if I'm not around. (cross fingers, touch wood, puh! )

Usually I'll use them for work and turn them into portable tune up flash drives. Portable CCleaner is nice, along with Portable Malwarebytes. If you know someone in need of one, you could also give it away.

I do freebies on another forum somewhat often with my old ones. I've done many.

I currently have 4 that I have on my desk.. 2 old ones I should give away, my daily 16GB Xporter that is fast as hell. it has music, video's and a few average programs. usually in my truck and play movies to the TV (Thats not supposed to be on while I drive, but is) and then I got a MINI 8GB that is smaller than a dime i swear. lol. and that is the newest one.

I actually have 2 fast drives. I have the Voyager Cruzer Mini 16GB and I use that on my keychain with AV's and scanners and malwarebytes, as well as CCleaner, and then some apps and nero, dvdfab, and a few other things I need often.

Meh. I have way to many sitting around
